TRACKER® aluminum bass and panfish boats feature a mod v hull with a variable angle deadrise that is sharper at the bow to slice through chop, and flatter at the transom for improved planing and stability at rest. The mod v hull design is intended to maximize a smooth, quick and comfortable ride to and from your fishing spot, and provide anglers with the most stability while they stand and fish from the fore and aft casting decks. In addition, every model comes as a complete ready-to-fish package with a custom-fit trailer, Mercury® outboard, Minn Kota® trolling motor, Lowrance® fishfinder and an aerated livewell.
In 1978, Johnny Morris and Bass Pro Shops began producing the first completely-outfitted fishing boat and motor package in the world, delivering an unmatched value and competitive edge to all levels of anglers. From the original ready-to-fish BASS TRACKER® aluminum fishing boat to now, TRACKER Boats continues our heritage of delivering quality and value for creating lasting memories on the water with a call back to the start of it all, The BASS TRACKER Classic XL.
TRACKER Pro Series aluminum fishing boats are a great fit for a first-time boat owner or the veteran angler. You'll get all the features you need for a successful day on the water in a boat, motor, and trailer package that is sized right for easy towing and stowing, all essential fishing gear, and big fishing adventures.
The Pro Team™ series packs durability, performance, and value into a tournament-caliber package that’s geared to win. The result is a highly versatile and formidable aluminum bass fishing platform that can rival the performance of smaller fiberglass fishing boats. Pro Team™ models come in multiple sizes and configurations, but all ride on the exclusive REVOLUTION™ Hull; a hull design with a variable deadrise combined with a set-back transom to deliver a fast, dry and smooth ride, backed by our SMOOTH RIDE GUARANTEE™.
Aluminum mod v boats perform exceptionally well for casual to competitive bass and panfish fishing. The varying hull angles of a mod v hull allow it to cut through choppier water when on plane and at speed. When at rest in calm water they make very stable platforms to stand and fish from. They are durable thanks to their all-welded aluminum construction and capable of getting into skinnier shallow water that may have obstacles and obstructions because of a shallower draft. The draft is how deep the hull extends into the water. Mod V boats are nimble when underway, and stable at rest.
Mod V boats provide a very stable platform to stand and fish from in the right water conditions. The beam (width of the hull at the rear) and low angle of deadrise (the steepness of the angle where the two halves of the hull come together under the boat) at the stern maximize casting deck space, and give these boats a shallow draft that allows access to smaller or more calm areas of water where bass and panfish are. Mod Vs operate well in slight chop when underway, but may not the best option when navigating waves of large channels or big water.
